Leshaya Wood Dress
Meet Leshaya — our sculptural ode to Russian folklore.
Inspired by the Leshy, guardian spirit of the forest, this dress was designed for and inspired by Anna Sanders, the model who wore it, who was born in Russia and raised in Arkansas by her adoptive parents.
Bent from Russian Tatar maple veneer and wrapped in leather, it spirals like bark enlivened by the spirits — protective, wild, and deeply rooted in cultural heritage. Anna herself added the moss elements to her wooden clogs and hair to complete the look.
Leshaya is a myth made wearable.
A reminder that the forest sees you — and sometimes, walks beside you.
